Video/Movies: Dalì and Disney's Destino

Did you know that Salvador Dalì and Walt Disney collaborated for an animated short called Destino? Radical!

They storyboarded it back in 1945. The project was rediscovered in 1999 and subsequently animated. It's been screened at a handful of film festivals worldwide since then and is scheduled for DVD release in 2010. Here's the Wiki entry, for more info.

You're gonna wanna download this mashup of Brand New's "Jesus Christ" and Kanye's "Jesus Walks" called "Jesus Christ Walks".

I really appreciate when mashup DJs don't just arbitrarilly throw songs together because they have the same tempo and, instead, choose songs that have a similar theme and/or subject. That's talent. It shows a true appreciation of the music. Any moron can match up 120 bpm and 120 bpm without truly knowing what the songs are about.
